In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Verizon has expanded calling, texting and data relief to Ukraine and additional affected countries in the area. Through March 24, 2022, the company is waiving international calling charges and texting for consumers in Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine. With families and friends constantly staying connected during the conflict, Verizon has supported affected communities throughout the crisis and has also promoted its customers to help provide relief through a text to donate campaign with a variety of organizations.
