SAP limits business in Russia in response to Ukraine invasion
SAP SE (SAP) stated that on March 2, 2022, the company stopped all sales in Russia and Belarus. Additionally, the company has implemented all international sanctions without exception and is in constant contact with its government counterparts to remain aligned with their strategies to end the war. Furthermore, SAP stated that along with implementing sanctions and stopping sales, the company is also actively shutting down cloud operations in Russia. However, SAP noted that customers in Russia that have bought and deployed SAP products on-premises and run the products in internal IT departments will still be able to use the products independently from SAP.
