Alphabet introduces the Privacy Sandbox on Android
In February 2022, Alphabet Inc (Alphabet) announced a multi-year initiative to build the Privacy Sandbox on Android. The goal of this is to introduce new, more private advertising solutions. More specifically, the Privacy Sandbox will limit the sharing of user data with third parties and operate without cross-app identifiers, including advertising ID. Alphabet will release previews throughout the year with a beta release by the end of 2022.
