2021 performance shows continued growth in the company
Activision Blizzard’s 2021 total consolidated net revenue reached $8.8 billion in 2021, representing a 9.0% increase from $8.1 billion in 2020. The company benefited from rising mobile and ancillary revenue, which includes revenues from mobile devices, as well as non-platform-specific game-related revenues, such as standalone sales of toys and accessories. Mobile and ancillary platform revenue rose 24.0% in 2021, negating a 5.0% decline in console revenue in 2021. The increase in net revenues from the mobile and ancillary platform was primarily due to higher revenues from in-game player purchases and advertising in the Candy Crush franchise; and Call of Duty: Mobile.
